Austin Classes
We currently have 6 week classes available. These classes will focus on clay preparation, centering clay on the wheel, and understanding the mechanics and design of creating successful forms. These classes will also focus on glazing pots successfully, as well as more advanced techniques for decoration, including painting with underglazes and layering with glazes.
We also have one time wheel classes available, these classes will focus on making functional bowls. Students will throw and decorate a few bowls on the wheel with underglaze.
Our next round of 6 week classes will run from the week of January 8th-February 12th. These classes will go on sale on November 22nd at 10am. The price of our 6 week classes are $395 and include 5 hours of outside studio time.

We constantly add new one time wheel classes and workshops. We would recommend joining our mailing list for updates on future classes as well as following along on instagram @mudstudioaustin! If you’re interested in planning a private group class - let us know! We can plan a group class for 4-20 people. We do not offer private 1:1 classes.
